SHAKE-SHAKE-SHAKE
Creamer Noisemakers

by

Shari Lyle-Soffe

Use these noisemakers to make
a joyful noise!

With a few household items you
can make these colorful noisemakers.
Lightly sand two creamer bottles. Wipe away dust with damp paper towel. Paint
stripes with two different colors. Allow paint to dry. Apply second coat. Decorate
with painted designs or colorful stickers.

Note: Have an adult spray the bottles with spray gloss sealer.

Pour ½ cup of dry beans in each bottle. Spread white glue on neck of bottle and
screw on lid. Glue cap shut so that beans can’t spill out.

Now put some music on and shake-shake-shake! Make a joyful noise!

CATCH-A-SMILE

CATCH-A-SMILE

YOU WILL NEED:

· 2 Quart size plastic creamer bottles
· Red and Blue decorative tape
· tennis ball
· black paint
· paint brush
· ½ inch wooden dowel
· sandpaper

HOW TO DO IT:

1. *Ask an adult to cut bottom ring off of each bottle.
2. Sand cut edge until it is smooth.
3. Use tape to make stripes around bottles.
4. Use wooden dowel dipped in black paint to make eyes on tennis ball. Use brush to paint mouth on tennis ball.

TO PLAY: (two players)
Recommend playing outside so you don't break something.
Hold bottle by neck (bottom up) and drop tennis ball inside. Stand a few feet away from opponent and toss ball out of bottle with an upward motion. Opponent should hold other bottle by neck (bottom up) and try to catch ball in it. Repeat and don’t forget to smile.
